INTERNET SPEED & CONNECTION HEALTH

How fast is your internet?

Test your speed. Find what’s wrong.
Your connection, explained. Your next step, made clear.

Press Start to check download, upload and response time — then get a practical next step.

INTERNET SPEED
READY WHEN YOU ARE—Mbps

A test uses internet data. Standard: up to about 100 MB. Extended: up to about 850 MB. Avoid other downloads.

Your results will appear below.
Download—Mbps · watching & downloading
Upload—Mbps · sending & sharing
Response time—ms · network latency to test server
Stability & loaded latency +

Your main speed is the download estimate. These details show how steady the connection is and how it responds during transfers.

Jitter —How much response time varies.
Latency while downloading —Response time when your line is busy.
Latency while uploading —Response time while sending files.
Speed stability —Speed variation across repeated transfers of the same size. Lower variation means steadier speed.
Packet loss Not measuredRequires a dedicated UDP/TURN service.
Wi-Fi signal / band Not availableBrowsers cannot read your router's signal strength.

Response time is measured over HTTP, not ICMP. Results describe the route to the test server, not every internet service.

A CLEAR NEXT STEP

Slow internet? Narrow it down.

One speed test cannot tell us exactly which device is at fault. A few comparisons can help.

Run a test for suggestions based on your measurements.

Did that change help?

Save a starting result, make one change, then run a second check. We’ll compare speed and response times automatically.

Use the same device, test depth and network within 30 minutes. For the VPN check, change only the VPN. Select Wi-Fi before both tests when comparing router locations.

Network latency is estimated from repeated requests to Cloudflare after excluding reported server processing time. We show the median idle latency and measure loaded latency the same way. Throughput uses Cloudflare’s 90th percentile of eligible transfer samples, with requests shorter than 10 ms excluded by the engine. Multiple measurement rounds reduce the influence of temporary slow requests. This estimates throughput to the test server, not guaranteed maximum line capacity.

Measurements by Cloudflare · network lookup with ipapi.co, IPify and IPWho.is when needed.

Real measurements, clear limits.

Cloudflare’s open-source engine transfers files of increasing sizes to measure throughput, HTTP latency, jitter and latency during transfers. Standard tests use smaller transfers; extended tests can better exercise fast connections. Neither guarantees your maximum line speed.

Your browser, device, Wi-Fi, VPN, busy network and test route can all affect the result. This is an independent check, not a contractual proof of your provider’s service.

Packet loss, router signal strength, your subscription and a definitive fault location are not inferred from missing data. History is stored locally; clear it to remove saved tests. Network identification first uses Cloudflare metadata. If unavailable, ipapi.co identifies your public network directly. If that fails, IPify identifies your public IP and this site forwards it to IPWho.is to find the network operator. IP addresses are not displayed or stored in history; service policies apply. Measurements contact Cloudflare, whose own policies apply.
